TAO TANGO - THE COURSE
5 days tuition, to include:
taoist practices:
• daily chi kung warm up sessions
• the inner smile – preparation for the dance
• the six healing sounds – a simple practice to transform negative emotions into useful energy
• building energy for dance
• recognising and circulating energy which is already yours
• opening the heart - the energy of compassion and its relation to tango
tango:
• history and rhythms of tango
• tango styles
• simple tango movements – working with milongueros to model the tango walk
• posture and ‘attitude’
• the tango embrace

• 5 visits to milongas (tango dance halls) with carefully selected dance partners • group sessions with experienced dancers
